Here is the latest in my highly decorated and painted bamboo fans..... for all occasions, but especially for parties, weddings and in particular, this one would make a lovely gift for a silver wedding anniversary?
This fan is decorated to the same extent but differently on both sides, including the end guards and the staves. It positively glitters in varied lighting, with all different tones of silver, from antique smoky metal effects, ultra smooth silver glitter, appliqued relief fretwork in polished silver and tiny diamante.
I have included images of both sides of the fan and also on a white and black background to show the detail better along with an image of the fan folded. If you need to fold your fan please note that owing to the decorations the fan closes as shown but can hang in the hand easily when not in use. I can make fans that close fully in a similar style too.
I have also included an image showing this fan with some other silver fans that compliment this one. Why not gift fans at your anniversary, party, wedding....an original and thoughtful gift that will be remembered. If you are interested in this idea, I can arrange a custom order for you and do multiples of the same design for weddings parties etc. Please allow extra time and contact me to discuss and confirm your exact requirements and deadlines.

When receiving a fan please open it gently upon arrival and leave open for a wee while to rid any lingering process smells and to generally let the fan breath.
Clean with a damp cloth and avoid rough handling, leaving in high temperatures and exposing to water....treat it as a usable art object and it will last you well.
If you are looking for a way to display your fan when not in use?
For a rustic look you can find small easels at craft stores that you can paint to match your fan as I have done for many of my photographs.
Some clients display their fans in deep frames, either open, for easy access or closed keeping the fan as an art object.
A super easy way to show your fan on a wall is to put up two wall protrusions, make sure they are soft finish or padded (not bare nails or screws) and rest bottom of the leaf of the fan on the points, so the fan spans open. Place the points about 5 inches / 12.6cms apart. Many of my images show fans displayed like this too.
Or you can find generic hand fan stands here:
